A Different Standard
Recognition Based on Evidence, Not Narratives
Most awards rely on written submissions, panel judging and marketing narratives. The Global Experience Excellence Awards are different. Recognition is based on structured benchmarking performance through the Experience Excellence Index.

Entry Pathways
Two Pathways to the EEI Awards
Whether you enter through the full EEI Assessment or through your existing BSI certification, every Awards entrant is measured on the same maturity framework.
Process
How the EEI Awards Work
01
Complete the EEI
Organisations undertake the structured maturity assessment for CX, EX, DCXS or PX. Or enter via the BSI Certification Pathway.
02
Receive Your Score
A 0–100 performance index and maturity level are generated based on structured evaluation criteria.
03
Validation Review
Top-tier performers undergo structured validation to confirm evidence and scoring integrity.
04
Recognition
Eligible organisations are recognised at national and global levels during the annual Awards cycle.
Maturity Framework
Performance Levels
Every organisation is assessed against four progressive maturity levels — from foundational awareness through to systemic, proactive excellence.
Recognition
Awards Recognition Tiers
Based on your combined EEI score, organisations qualify for tiered recognition at both national and global levels.
BSI Certification Pathway
From BSI Certification to Awards Recognition
If your organisation holds current BSI certification against an ICXI standard, you automatically qualify for the EEI Awards through the Maturity Uplift Assessment. Your BSI score is imported directly — the uplift only tests what BSI doesn’t already cover.
How the BSI Pathway Works
01
BSI Certification Verified
Your current BSI certification against ICXS, IEHWS, IDCXS or IPEXS is verified directly with BSI. Your certification score becomes the baseline.
02
Maturity Uplift Assigned
You receive the pathway-specific Maturity Uplift assessment, testing only the EEI dimensions your standard doesn’t already cover.
03
Uplift Conducted
An ICXI-accredited EEI Assessor conducts the uplift using the Reactive → Aware → Structured → Proactive maturity scale.
04
Combined Score
BSI score is converted to EEI-equivalent points. Uplift score is added. The combined score determines your Awards tier.
05
Awards Qualification
Your combined EEI score qualifies you for Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Foundation recognition at the annual ceremony.
The Maturity Uplift
What the Uplift Measures
BSI certification proves compliance. The Maturity Uplift measures what BSI doesn’t — creating the complete picture of experience excellence.
Powered by the Experience Excellence Index
The Global Experience Excellence Awards are based exclusively on the Experience Excellence Index (EEI), developed by ICXI. EEI is a structured organisational maturity benchmark integrating governance, behavioural science, operational reliability and digital trust disciplines.
